I am a sucker for planning, organizing, dreaming, goal setting- any of that kind of stuff! In 2018 I found a product that put all of that into one, amazing journal. I love setting goals with PowerSheets!

You can get all the “Need to Know” info about PowerSheets right here!

PowerSheets are a goal planning tool that allows you to create goals and actually achieve them. These are just a few of the goals I have met or am on track to meet by the end of 2019.
- Allow more time for Personal Growth >>> 75% done
- Encourage others by hosting monthly gathers >>> 8/10 months this year we have intentionally hosted people
- More joy for myself >>> 12 “me days” this year to focus on ME!
- Grow my podcast to 50,000 total downloads >>> 56,000 and counting!
- Earn a certain amount of $$$ in 2019 >>> so far I’ve earned 69% of that goal!
This is all because of my PowerSheets and consistent use of them in 2019.
What I have found, though, is these are more than just a “goal setting workbook.” The Powersheets Goal Planning Journal provides tools to help you think critically about your priorities in life.
I seriously love them so much, I have a whole Instagram Story Highlight full of me showing how I use them- I use them literally every day.
Setting Goals with PowerSheets
A lot of people become overwhelmed when you think about the process of setting goals for a new year. Achieving them? That’s even more impossible to think about!Powersheets can be an incredibly effective tool for setting personal and professional goals.
As I’ll explain down below, the Powersheets model pushes you to evaluate 8 areas of your life. Before you even set one.single.goal, you are challenged to think about how you are stewarding your finances, managing your friendships, your spiritual growth, your relationship with your spouse, your relationships with your family and a few more.

That is why I love the Powersheets format. It doesn’t just allow you to set goals, but it causes you to evaluate all parts of your life. And set goals accordingly.
An Inside Look at Powersheets
I snapped a few shots of my Powersheets to show you. But please know, I am not an artistic person, so mine aren’t always “cute.” You can search #powersheets on Instagram or Pinterest and get a TON of inspiration for making them cute.
For me, I try, but it’s more important to me that I don’t get caught up in making it look perfect.
At the beginning of your Powersheets Planner, you have about twenty pages of self reflection. Here is one page I felt comfortable sharing.

At the beginning of each quarter, you have the opportunity to rate different areas of your life.

You also create specific goals, there’s room for up to ten. You can see many of mine are related to my business and my relationship with myself and with Cody.

Each month I look back over my goals and write down things that are coming up that month.

And here is where the real magic happens. I write out all the things I want to be intentional about (on the left) and then my actionable steps I am going to take to make those things happen (on the left).

At the end of the month, you are able to review your month. This is usually really powerful for me. If you can read it clear enough, you’ll notice that there is nothing about “what I didn’t accomplish this month.”
Instead, it’s worded as “I’m choosing GRACE over guilt.” Sometimes those subtle word changes are really impactful.

2020 Powersheets
Have you ever used Powersheets? Are you dying to get your hands on a set? I’ve already ordered my 2020 set and you can get yours too, right here!
This year they have fun, new covers. AND they are hardcover. I’ll be sharing pics of my Powersheets as soon as I get them on my Instagram stories, so make sure you are following me! (I ordered the teal- I think!)

They go on sale on October 16th, 10 AM ET, and from my past experience, they sell out FAST! (I waited till like 12 ET last year and already missed out on some of the color options I wanted.)
If you want to check out the other products the team creates, you can view their whole product guide…But be prepared to whip out your credit card cause you will most definitely want to get something!
A few things on my list this year?!?
This sticky notepad. This is my weekly bible of everything I need to do (and I tell you exactly how I use it over on my Instagram stories!)
I love these Wildcard Pages. They are different planners/goal setting tools that you can put onto the blank pages in your Powersheets Planner. My favorite is the quarterly finance check-ins, friendship tending list, and the monthly calendars.
If you are new to Powersheets and really want to go all in, they have put together a bundle for you!
Thinking about purchasing Powersheets? I’d be forever grateful if you’d use the links on this blog. As I mentioned at the top of the post, purchases made through affiliate links help me maintain costs for my blog. TIA! 🙂
